Growing up in Rancho Park, I remember:
The circus in the big lot where The May Co./Robinsons-May/Macy's is today. A real circus, with "The big top," and animals, and everything that the circus is about. In the 1950's. I think I am a dinosaur! I remember peace and quiet, too. Not anymore!

I love that we share "all" the same memories. I've been in South Ontario, CA for 31 years because, although I still have business in Rancho Park, I discovered the 50's in Ontario. Good luck to you....and those of us who remember...THE CIRCUS...and the rest.
