Growing up in Rancho Park, I remember:
The circus in the big lot where The May Co./Robinsons-May/Macy's is today. A real circus, with "The big top," and animals, and everything that the circus is about. In the 1950's. I think I am a dinosaur! I remember peace and quiet, too. Not anymore!
