Rancho Park Mailman Bob Retires after 25 Years of Delivery in our Neighborhood

Many of you know Bob, the friendly Rancho Park postal carrier who delivered mail to the neighborhoods south of Pico Blvd and both east and west of Westwood Blvds. for a quarter of a century.

Friday was his last day on the job. So for a change, here is a note to him...Thanks Bob for your years of service to our neighborhood. We will miss you.

Here is a post from 2011, when Bob and many other Rancho Park postal carriers had their routes changed. Was Bob your mailman? Please share any thoughts or well wishes here.

I never had Bob but I've had some great carriers by Beverly Glen and Pico and I don't envy them these days. The elimination of routes and adding on to current ones. Our mail carriers are doing a lot more work and it isn't going to get any easier.Hats off to them.
