Halloween is just around the corner and Rancho Park is home to some great haunts to help you prepare for and participate in this spooky celebration.

Need a costume or Halloween decorations?

The West LA Party City on Sepulveda at Exposition  is overflowing with all the goblins, ghouls and get-ups you need to get yourself and your home in the Halloween spirit. Click on the link to see their extended October hours, which include staying open from 8:00 am until midnight on October26-27.

Just around the corner, the Spirit Halloween Superstore on Pico at Miltary is open for business and also brimming with witches, wigs and whatever else your Halloween heart desires. They too are open some pretty long hours in this pre-Halloween push.

Ready to Celebrate?

The Cheviot Hills and Palms Rec Centers' annual Halloween Carnival and community fundraiser is on Saturday, October 27 from noon to 4:00 pm at the  Cheviot Hills Rec Center on Motor just east of Pico.  Information on tickets and volunteer opportunities can be found at the link above or by contacting 310 838-3838 or 310 837-5186

The West Los Angeles Community Police Station will be holding their annual Halloween Haunted House and Station Open House. Dates and times are not set yet but I am told construction on the project is underway. Expect this to take place Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27.  I will update this post as information is available and visit the station website for event news.
